All of this year’s buyer delegates have been carefully vetted by the independent Buyer Selection Committee to maximise the potential for successful contracting opportunities for PATA Travel Mart (PTM) 2010 Sellers. While the largest percentage of buyers still hails from Europe, there has been a marked increase in the number of buyer delegates from emerging markets such as China, Russia and India.

Business travel creeps back: Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT)

Business travel is performing better than expected with demand for flights and rail travel on the increase, according to Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT). “We had predicted the year to be flat, but we have seen business travel coming back,” said Nigel Turner, Director of Public Sector and Industry Affairs, Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
